The Gale virtual Reference Library  (For access to individual titles, click here) is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials can be accessed online anywhere from the campus 24/7. 

MD Consult Core Collection is available to Stellenbosch University Library clients.  Individual titles can be searched via the library catalogue or simultaneously as a group via MD Consult.  The Core Book collection contains more than 51 reference works

The Pubmed Bookshelf  is a small but growing collection of biomedical books adapted for the web by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The books are also linked to terms in PubMed. Can be searched by subject by typing specific concept into the searchbox.

SARS Reference  free medical textbook provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).
