“Library Associations Driving Access to Knowledge: Models, Management, and Advocacy”

How can you move your library association forward?   How are other library associations around the world achieving success?   How can your library association advance the IFLA President's theme?  Find these answers and more at this one-day workshop developed by the Management of Library Associations Section (MLAS) of IFLA.

Enjoy presentations, panels and roundtable discussions on how we can build strong library associations, the importance of global communication and cooperation, association models, association management, and advocacy from around the globe. Panel discussions and roundtables will focus on different library association models and how they are organized and include discussions on public, research and private libraries and on operating models, such as paid or volunteer positions.
