SAGE Research Methods Online (SRMO) is a web-based research methods tool created to help researchers, faculty and students with their research projects. SRMO links over 100000 p of SAGE’s renowned book, journal and reference content with advanced search and discovery tools. Researchers can explore methods concepts to help them design research projects, understand a particular method or identify a new method, and write up their research. Since SRMO focuses on methodology rather than disciplines, it can be used by researchers from the social sciences, health sciences and more. With SRMO, researchers can explore their chosen method across the depth and breadth of content, expanding or refining their search as needed; read online, print, or email full-text research methods content; utilize suggested related methods and links to related authors from SRMO's robust library and unique features; and even share their own collections of content through SRMO with other users. SRMO contains content from over 600 books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, the entire “Little Green Book,” and Little Blue Book” series, two Major Works collating a selection of journal articles, and newly commissioned videos.

The British Pharmacopoeia (BP) is the official collection of standards for UK medicinal products and pharmaceutical substances. Produced by the British Pharmacopoeia Commission Secretariat of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, the BP makes a valuable contribution to public health by setting publicly available standards for the quality of medicines.

Elsevier’s Reaxys database is the successor of the Crossfire Beilstein and Gmelin database.  Reaxys is an intuitive, user-friendly, web-based platform to search in Beilstein, Gmelin and The Patent Chemistry Database (PCD) for experimentally validated data on organic, organometallic and inorganic chemistry. Reaxys enables you to search by structure, reaction, text and property data. A new unique feature includes a synthesis planner and is of great importance and relevance to espescially synthetic chemists and drug researchers.

The SU Library and Information Service now has access to one of the engineering industry’s most powerful resources - IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL).

The IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL) provides access to almost a third of the world's current electrical engineering and computer science literature. This includes unlimited, full-text access to all IEEE journals, transactions, and magazines; IEEE conference proceedings; IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) journals and conference proceedings; and all active IEEE standards.

IEEE is the world’s largest professional association, advancing innovation and technological excellence.  Through its global membership, IEEE is a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics, among others.  Members rely on IEEE as a source of technical and professional information, resources and services.
