Locations

Information Science books are located on the lower level of the JS Gericke Library and are identified by blue or orange disks on the shelves. Click here for some useful shelf numbers.

Books elsewhere

Books that cannot be found at the University of Stellenbosch might possibly be traced via SACat on Sabinet Online. (Select SACat as database to search in the dropdown menu). This database lists all books held in South African libraries.

Interlibrary loans

The Library Service renders a free interlibrary loan service to all staff members, registered students and prospective postgraduate students of the University. It is important to check the online library catalogue to ensure that the required item is not held at the University of Stellenbosch Library Service before requesting an interlibrary loan.
